Since graduating with distinction, Simon has set up his own design studio, Simon Deeves Garden Design. He loves working closely with clients, designing gardens and planting schemes to create beautiful outdoor spaces. He is particularly passionate about wild spaces, how they can inform our relationships with our own gardens, and how to connect people with nature and gardens for wellbeing.
Simon’s previous career as a cartographer has given him an eye for detail and technical skills that enable him to produce professional quality drawings to a high standard, and he has been creatively rejuvenated by bringing these skills to garden design.
He exhibited at RHS Badminton Flower Show 2026 and received a Silver-Gilt award for his garden.
Services offered include full garden designs, border and planting designs, plant sourcing, and maintenance guides.
Work is primarily undertaken across Gloucestershire and surrounding counties, including the Bristol and Bath area, although Simon is always willing to travel for an exciting project!
